October 2012 Khamis Qaddafi was discovered and arrested in Bani Walid today but died while being taken to Misrata.  Confirmation of his arrest and subesquent death was announced on TV this evening, Saturday, by the General National Congress spokesman Omar Hmaidan. October 2012 It has been reported today, Saturday, that Al-Hamali Ahmed Al-Hatmani, commander of the Wadi Eshatti Battalion, has been murdered. He is credited as the man who told revolutionaries from Zintan where Saif Al-Islam was hiding.  Although himself a revolutionary from the south, he reportedly gained Saif’s confidence in order to help capture him. October 2012 The Qaddafi regime’s media spokesman, Moussa Ibrahim, has been reported as captured in Bani Walid and is now being held at Mitiga airbase in Tripoli. Sunday 21st October 2012 Thirteen soldiers were killed in the assault on Bani Walid on Saturday and 121 wounded, according to a member of the intensive care unit at Misrata general hospital. Sunday 21st October 2012 Congressman Adel Asharshari, the independent member for Sorman, was attacked west of Tripoli yesterday and his car stolen. The incident appears to have been that of common theft.  He was driving not far from Camp 27, which at the time was under attack from Qaddafi supporters, when he was stopped.
