January 2012  Konooz Investment Holding Company has announced it has obtained an initial permit from the Libyan Stock Market, to establish the first Islamic investment fund in Libya, with a capital of LD 500 million. January 2013  The Central Bank of Libya Governor, Saddek Elkaber, has confirmed that Libya has projects on hold approved by the former regime were worth up to $140 billion. They are currently under review. The figure is higher than the $100 billion previously mentioned by government ministers. Monday 28th January 2013  The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) has partially eased foreign currency transfer restrictions for Libyan companies importing certain goods. January 2013  A new shipping line will be established between Libya and Tunisia, according to Tunisia’s Transport Minister.
