Five Egyptian embassy staff who were kidnapped in the Libyan capital Tripoli have been freed, Libyan officials say. The country’s deputy foreign minister, Razak Grady, said three diplomats had been released and the others were being handed over to the authorities. A Libyan militia commander was released in Egyptafter Egyptian diplomats who had been kidnapped in Tripoli in reaction to his arrest were freed, Egyptian security sources said on Monday. Libyan and Egyptian government officials said there was no deal to free Shaban Hadia, who is also known as Abou Abeida, in exchange for the diplomats. Source/ Reuters
