February 2013

Royal Jordanian is increasing the number of its flights between Libya and Amman to 15 a week, in response to what it says is growing demand from Libyans seeking medical care and passengers connecting through to the Gulf region.

As of Saturday 9 February, the airline will be adding three extra flights to its daily schedule between Tripoli and Amman. These will run on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The aircraft will leave Amman at 7 am, landing in Tripoli at 9.05 am  and returning to Jordan at 9.55 am, arriving at 3.15 pm.

Yesterday, Wednesday, Royal Jordanian also began a second weekly flight between Misrata and Amman, leaving Jordan at 11.30 am and arriving at 1.20pm , with the return trip departing at 2.45pm and reaching Amman at  7.45pm.  The carriers flights to Benghazi remain at four a week.
